Fair Politics USA – The Relaunch

While I was absent for about three months, a lot has happened in the US and in the world. The federal government is on the brink of a shutdown, GOP state legislatures and governors have declared war on unions, Tunisia and Egypt ousted their autocratic leaders and Libya is facing a bloody civil war.

There is so much going on at the moment, which made me come back and continue writing.
I plan to implement various changes over the next couple of weeks, including the following:

- Disqus commenting system (done)
- World, ePolitics category (done)
- further social media integration
- a weekly column on the political status quo
- new banner
- complete blog redesign (long term)

These are the main things I want to get done to give you a better experience.
The new commenting system is already installed and the new World category will feature articles on topics from all over the world. ePolitics will contain everything from specific smartphone apps to certain new media campaign techniques in the upcoming elections.

The rest will be added soon, except the complete design overhaul, which will definitely take a while.

I will keep you posted on the latest developments, so check back later.
