Ever wondered, whether all those people, who see UFO’s in the sky, are either lucky, hallucinating or even lying?
It actually does not matter any more, because the Iranian government recently revealed their first flying saucer.

Yes, they really developed a device that kind of looks like all those pictures, you might associate with flying saucers and unidentified flying objects.
It actually is an unmanned drone, built for surveillance operations.
According to the Iranian Fars News Agency, the device includes a 10-megapixel camera and is able to transmit data back home immediately.
As you can see on the picture, the drone probably works like a small helicopter and therefore might look like a flying saucer, while in the air.

First off I was very unsure what to think of this, what its purpose was, but that cleared up pretty quickly.
Building an unmanned surveillance drone is just the next logical step in developing their military arsenal.
Emphasizing that it is an Iranian project is also quite significant, because it is supposed to show the governments of Israel, Saudi Arabia and most importantly the United States, their capabilities.
Despite the fact, that its functionality cannot be confirmed, it is still a huge achievement.

Much more interesting is the label the news agency, which has ties to the government, gave this device. Calling it a flying saucer, while it is nothing more than a surveillance drone seems just weird.
